Members of the creative team

Kristian Sofus Hansen

With a background from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and having spent time living and studying in Japan, Kristian Sofus Hansen brings aesthetics and simplicity to the Danish design heritage and knows how to translate and transform these little signature details into the collection of 101 Copenhagen. Mainly designing sculptures and objects, it is a never ending source of inspiration for Hansen, whose aim is to create characteristic and functional design to remember.

Nicolaj Nøddesbo

With a background from the Aarhus School of Architecture, Nicolaj Nøddesbo is developing innovative light solutions and timeless novelties for the 101 Copenhagen collection. Since joining the team in 2017, his mission has been to add personality and character to functional pieces, focusing on materiality, tactility and a sense of spatiality when creating minimalistic and sculptural design items.

Tommy Hyldahl

With a background in fashion having spent years forecasting and analyzing future trends, Tommy Hyldahl has a natural attention to detail in materials, historical references and original design concepts. Similar to the process in fashion, the design at 101 Copenhagen begins with an idea that evolves and develops into a full layered narrative of each collection.
